PROGRAMA DE UM DIA COMPOSTO POR EXIBIÇÃO DE FILMES, APRESENTAÇÃO DE INSTALAÇÃO FOTOGRÁFICA E CONVERSAS. 
ThisPlace – Stories of displaced people in Chernihiv, Diyarbakır, and Porto é um projeto colaborativo que propõe uma reflexão sobre pessoas que foram deslocadas, discriminadas ou marginalizadas por motivos étnicos, raciais, culturais ou políticos nestas três cidades na Ucrânia, na Turquia e em Portugal. 
O projeto foi desenvolvido no âmbito do VAHA, uma iniciativa da Anadolu Kültür e MitOst, financiada pela Stiftung Mercator e pela European Cultural Foundation. O programa VAHA (que significa “oásis” em turco) teve a duração de dois anos e visou empoderar espaços artísticos e culturais independentes, defendendo a discussão pública e o diálogo em cidades da Turquia, da Europa e de países vizinhos. O consórcio de parceiros VAHA encontra-se em colaboração com o iac Berlin na implementação de uma série de workshops temáticos e reuniões de rede. A Fundação Chrest apoiou as despesas relacionadas a viagens.

Foram formados 16 hubs para o VAHA. Os hubs de Chernihiv (composto por Youth Drama Theatre AmaTea, Private Filmmaking Company e Hryhorii Galagan Chernihiv Regional Art Museum), de Diyarbakır II (composto por A4 Atölye e WePhotos) e Porto (composto por INSTITUTO, RAMPA e InterStruct Collective) desenvolveram o projeto colaborativo ThisPlace, para o qual cada hub contribuiu com a produção de um filme e de uma série fotográfica sobre histórias de pessoas deslocadas nas suas cidades. 
ThisPlace será apresentado publicamente pela primeira vez no dia 19 de novembro (sábado) na Rampa, no Porto (Portugal). O evento terá início às 15h, para a apresentação da instalação fotográfica, com a exibição de filmes e conversas com participantes a partir das 16h. 
PROGRAMA:
15h00 – Abertura do espaço e apresentação da instalação fotográfica:
1) série sobre a atual situação na Ucrânia de Valentyn Bobyr e Vladyslav Savenok (VAHA Chernihiv hub);
2) série "Non-existent" de Bedran Tekin (VAHA Diyarbakır II hub);
3) série sobre um bairro no Porto de InterStruct Collective (VAHA Porto hub);
16h00 – Apresentação do programa VAHA e do projeto "ThisPlace" e exibição de um excerto do filme "Feqîyê Teyran – The Poet of Love" realizado pelo VAHA Diyarbakır II hub;
16h30 – Exibição do filme sobre um bairro no Porto realizado pelo VAHA Porto hub com Cláudia Henriques (Associação Luso-Africana Pontos nos Is);
17h30 – Exibição do filme "Bridges, Morgue, Hotel, and the Suburbs" realizado pelo VAHA Chernihiv hub e conversa com Olena Rosstalna (Youth Drama Theatre AmaTea) vinda expressamente da Ucrânia;
19h00 - Encerramento do evento.

ONE DAY EVENT COMPRISED OF FILM SCREENINGS, A PHOTOGRAPHY INSTALLATION, AND TALKS 
ThisPlace – Stories of displaced people in Chernihiv, Diyarbakır, and Porto is a collaborative project that proposes a reflection about people who have been displaced, discriminated, or marginalised due to ethnic, racial, cultural or political reasons in these three cities in Ukraine, Turkey, and Portugal. 
The project was developed within the scope of VAHA, an initiative of Anadolu Kültür and MitOst, funded by Stiftung Mercator and the European Cultural Foundation. VAHA (meaning “oasis” in Turkish) was a two-year programme made with and for the empowered voices of independent arts and culture spaces, advocating for public discussion and dialogue in cities across Turkey, Europe, and their neighbouring countries. VAHA partner consortium is in a collaboration with the iac Berlin to implement a series of thematic workshops and network meetings. The Chrest Foundation supported travel-related expenses.

For VAHA, 16 hubs were formed. The hubs from Chernihiv (comprised of Youth Drama Theatre AmaTea, Private Filmmaking Company, and Hryhorii Galagan Chernihiv Regional Art Museum), from Diyarbakır II (comprised of A4 Atölye, and WePhotos), and Porto (comprised of INSTITUTO, RAMPA, and InterStruct Collective) developed the collaborative project ThisPlace for which each hub contributed with a film and a photography series on stories of displaced people in their cities. 
ThisPlace will be publicly presented for the first time on November 19 (Saturday) at Rampa, in Porto (Portugal). The event will start at 3PM, for the presentation of the photography installation, hosting film screenings and talks with participants from 4PM.  
PROGRAMME:
3.00PM – Opening of the space and presentation of the photography installation comprised of:
1) a series on the current situation in Ukraine by Valentyn Bobyr and Vladyslav Savenok (VAHA Chernihiv hub);
2) the series "Non-existent" by Bedran Tekin (VAHA Diyarbakır II hub);
3) a series on a neighbourhood in Porto by InterStruct Collective (VAHA Porto hub);
4.00PM – Presentation of the VAHA programme and the ThisPlace project and screening of a fragment of the film Feqîyê Teyran – The Poet of Love produced by the VAHA Diyarbakır II hub;
4.30PM – Screening of the film on a neighbourhood in Porto produced by the VAHA Porto hub with Cláudia Henriques (Associação Luso-Africana Pontos nos Is);
5.30PM – Screening of the film Bridges, Morgue, Hotel, and the Suburbs produced by the VAHA Chernihiv hub and a talk with Olena Rosstalna (Youth Drama Theatre AmaTea), coming expressly from Ukraine.
7.00PM – Closing of the event.
