(…) É preciso mergulhar neste rio que nunca é o mesmo, mergulhando e sentindo o movimento do leito, o movimento das margens, a força da corrente. E tentar guardar o espírito lá longe no mar, aonde o rio chega." (Jean-luc Nancy, Que faire?, 2016) *Na noite seguinte à inauguração, sexta dia 23, haverá no Sismógrafo o concerto/performance de Alfredo Costa Monteiro, às 22h* ÂNGELO FERREIRA DE SOUSA (Porto, 1975) licenciou-se em artes plásticas (pintura) na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade do Porto. Foi membro fundador do espaço Caldeira 213 (1999/2002). É artista residente no espaço The Window, Paris e na Hangar, Barcelona e bolseiro da mesma instituição em mais duas residências: Marselha (Triangle - France) e em Roterdão (Duende Studios). É também bolseiro do governo da Catalunha no projeto "Schengen sem esforço". Tem exposto regularmente desde 1998, destacando-se, entre as individuais: Orange - RosaLux, Berlim, 2016; Bibliothèque Trouvée - The Window, Paris, 2013; Squamata - Banco Central, Rio de Janeiro, 2012; Walhalla - performance - Berlim e Kassel, 2012; Praça do Anjo I a VI , com Carla Cruz - Porto, 2007-16; Fox Power 800 - MEWS, Londres, 2010; Intelligence Services - Milão, 2005, e 70X7 - performance - Museu Vostell, Cáceres, 2005. (Jean-luc Nancy, Que faire?, 2016) *In the night after the opening, friday 23th, there will be at Sismógrafo a concert/performance by Alfredo Costa Monteiro, at 10pm* ÂNGELO FERREIRA DE SOUSA (Porto, 1975) graduated in Fine Arts (painting) at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. He was a founding member of Caldeira 213 space (1999/2002). He’s a resident artist at The Window, Paris and Hangar, Barcelona and a scholar from the same institution in two more residencies: Marseille (Triangle - France) and Rotterdam (Duende Studios). He is also a scholar from the Catalonia government in the project "Schengen sem esforço".
