Cacao Ceremony

In this Cacao Ceremony we will be using some very special Ceremonial Grade Cacao from Peru – harvested by small farmer co-operatives there in the Andes. This is a Criollo variety and is the most ancient variety cultivated today!
Cacao – literally meaning ‘Food of the Gods’ – can help you connect with your desires, move through old limiting patterns and increase your joy!   On a physical level, it increases blood flow to the brain and increases oxygen levels in your blood.  It is a wonderful medicine and can also help when wishing to stop with caffeine or sugar.  
Ceremony: We will begin by cleansing our energy field, grounding and then spending some time with a guided meditation, bringing us into the heart centre.  We will work with an intention for the ceremony (if you need more info on intention setting, please do ask).

As we drink the delicious cacao we will begin to feel the effects:  the heart feels open, we feel creativity energized and the mood is uplifted.  I will play a selection of different music, linking in with the elements and different rhythms, uplifting music to embrace some movement medicine  – enjoying our body, our breath, our connection to the Earth, our connection to each other.  Each person in their own flow.  Moving as we feel, connecting with our intention and breathing life into it as we dance.

Then, we will be able to lie back and enjoy some wonderful music, a sound journey where we can just let go with our mind and bring ourselves deeper and deeper into the heart space.   Following the breath and sinking into our connection with Gaia.

Then we will close the circle with a prayer and with gratitude.
