Noite cultural da Eslovénia (Eslovénia, não Eslováquia :)

Normalmente confundida com a Eslováquia (e, aqui em Portugal, mesmo com a Estónia), o país pequeno situado na encruzilhada de culturas diferentes (e no passado, interesses políticos) recentemente ganhou o reconhecimento internacional especialmente graças à esposa do atual presidente norte-americano.
Independentemente das celebridades, a Eslovénia esta a tornar-se um destino turístico popular ao longo de todo o ano, mesmo que as conexões de voos low cost sejam quase inexistentes e a ligação de comboio a Itália tenha sido cancelada há alguns anos.
Apesar das questões socioeconómicas, durante a noite cultural Tutti Frutti, vamos concentrar-nos no que junta as pessoas e faz com que elas se esqueçam dos problemas: a arte (e alguma comida também).
Vamos abrir a noite com um breve recital de música e continuaremos de forma mais criativa: explorando a realidade eslovena atual em grupos. Também vamos testar-nos como "lectarji" - as artesãs e artesãos que ainda fazem boas lembranças para as ocasiões especiais.
No final, como sempre, saborearemos alguns petiscos mais ou menos típicos e vamos socializar, yuhu! Prisrčno vabljeni!

Usually confused with Slovakia (and here, in Portugal, even with Estonia), the small country situated on the crossroads of different cultures and (political interests in the past) lately gained the international recognition especially thanks to the present American president's wife.
Regardless the celebrities, Slovenia is lately becoming an all year long popular tourist destination even though the low cost flight connections are almost non existing and the train connection with the Italy was cancelled some years ago.
Despite the socio-economical issues, during the Tutti Frutti cultural evening, we would concentrate on what brings people together and make them forget about the problems: the art (and some food as well).
We will open the evening with a short song recital and will continue in a more creative way: exploring the Slovenian nowdays reality in groups. We would also test ourselves as "lectarji" - the craftwomen and craftmen who are still making sweet memories for the special occasions.
At the end, as always, we would taste some of more or less typical snacks and we would socialize, hourray! Prisrčno vabljeni!
