INCERTA DESAMBIGUAÇÃO "A proposta trazida ao espaço da Zaratan, para um período de cinco semanas, entre o décimo nono dia de Outubro e o décimo oitavo dia de Novembro, é uma trágica história. O seu guião, aberto, é circunscrito apenas por uma específica ação humana, transformadora da realidade e causadora de uma profunda alteração espacial a que os convidados são convidados não só a assistir, como a se identificarem. A figura invocada, a tragédia, vive em tensão permanente e o seu personagem, o herói, sofre o inequivocamente final trágico. Derivando de tragos, bode e, oidé, canção, a tragédia terá as suas origens nas festividades entoadas a Dionísio na antiga Atenas democrática e tenderia para a imitação da ação humana. “A tragédia é uma imitação da ação (…) que por meio da comiseração e do temor provoca a purificação.” (1) A sua finalidade máxima seria, na aceção de Augusto Boal “o Bem Político.” (2) É face a ação central que a nossa figura reproduz, que convidámos outros artistas a “recriarem o prícipio criador das coisas criadas” (3) por forma a constituírem a presente exposição. Intencionalmente incorporamos os vazios, plenos e aptos a receber cada realização a que as diversas visões aludem. Espaço em branco que semana a semana se preenche transmutando-se e deixando perscrutar o que existiria oculto. Indeterminação e incerteza, denominantes destes espaços, desencadeiam a incorporação da condição fracassante, sinonímica de erro, por ora transposta." It’s open script, it is only limited by a specific human action, one that transforms reality and causes a deep spatial modification to which guests are invited not only to watch but also to identify with. The claimed figure, the tragedy, lives in permanent tension and its character, the hero, suffers the unequivocally tragic final. Drifting from tragos, goat and, oidé, song, the tragedy has its origins in the celebrations to Dionysius in ancient democratic Athens and it would tend to the imitation of human action. “Tragedy is an imitation of action (…) that by means of comiseration and fear causes purification.”(1) Its primarly finality would be, in Augusto Boal aception, “the Political Good.”(2) It is facing such a central action that our figure reproduces, that we invited other artists to “recreate the creator principle of the created things”(3) in order to constitute the present exhibition.The void is intentionally incorporated, full and able to receive each achievement to which the diverse visions allude. White spaces that week by week are filled, transmuting and allowing to to look into what before existed concealed. Indeterminacy and uncertainty, name such spaces, triggering the incorporation of a failure condition, error’s synonymy, as yet transposed."
