Ching-Yu worked as traditional Portuguese azulejos painter for years (2017-2020) to support her life in Porto which she sees it as survival skill more than artistic creation. This time of spending two months at the artist in residence De Liceiras 18, she picks up this painting-azulejos-skill and puts into art project which will be exhibited at Galeria Ocupa and then later at newly-relocated studio of De Liceiras 18 in two phases.
Writing diary everyday; an old habit of her since kindergarten, one of pages from her diary (April 2024) will be transformed into drawings from texts and to be presented on azulejos with corresponding scales. She invites the public to take off their shoes and walks gently into her intimate diary that lays on the floor.
