As part of the industry events, the 5th BEAST International Film Festival invites Marko Eraković, International Promotion Advisor of Film Centre of Montenegro, to present the Film in Montenegro Incentives Program together with its benefits and recent projects taking place in the cinematic landscapes of Montenegro.
Strategically located at the historic crossroads of civilizations and characterized by a mild continental climate with stable weather conditions across all four seasons, Montenegro offers spectacular sights that can stand in for just about any place on Earth at any point in time. Ancient Roman, Oriental, Mediterranean, Modernist and contemporary vistas coexist side by side, packed neatly into 14,000 km², or a 3-hour drive across the whole country, from snowy mountaintops in the north to the sandy beaches in the south. Most of these sights are yet to be seen on film, waiting to be discovered by global audiences, curious about new stories told with fresh perspectives.
Film in Montenegro - filminmontenegro.me - is the official incentives programme of the Film Centre of Montenegro aiming at encouraging foreign film & TV productions to discover Montenegro as an up-and-coming filming destination. With the recently introduced 25% cash rebate on qualifying local spending for feature films, documentaries and TV series, Montenegro stands ready to be uncovered by foreign productions.
