Schedule & Text in English Below Agit Lab + AgitÁgueda Artistas residentes em Montreal Alex Côté (performance), Andréanne Martin (música), Charles CB (dança contemporânea), Zoé Boivin - Artiste (artes visuais), Arielle Artiste (artes visuais), Perras (música) e Jonathan Malenfant (cinema) integram o coletivo artístico que esteve em residência durante o mês de Julho no Agit Lab, com a colaboração dos artistas multidisciplinares locais Mariana Sevila Matos, Wura Moraes e João Antunes. Curadoria de Paulina Almeida (PT) e Alex Côté (CAN), os artistas convidados imergiram no ambiente português com o objetivo de explorar e criar projetos interdisciplinares inovadores, permitindo uma partilha dinâmica com a comunidade de Câmara Municipal de Águeda. Com performances envolventes, murais vibrantes, coreografias criadas para site-specific, workshops em colaboração, concertos com muita energia e arte contemporânea. Os artistas exploraram diversas temáticas incluindo as questões ambientais que nos chegam presentemente e procuraram inspiração na comunidade LGBTQ+ para as manifestações artísticas durante o colorido Festival AgitÁgueda. Marcamos também o aniversário da inspiradora Paulina Almeida, por isso venham partilhar esta celebração connosco! ___________________________________________________________________ Agit Lab + AgitÁgueda Montreal-based artists Alex Côté (performance), Andréanne Martin (music), Charles CB (contemporary dance), Zoé Boivin (visual art), Ariane Côté (visual art), Perras / Mathieu-Philippe Perras (music) and Jonathan Malenfant (film) did a collective art residency throughout July at the international residency Agit Lab, with the collaboration of the local multidisciplinary artists Mariana Sevila Matos & Wura Moraes & João Antunes. Curated by Paulina Almeida (PT) and Alex Côté (CAN), the invited artists immersed themselves in the Portuguese environment with the intent of pursuing and creating innovative interdisciplinary projects, allowing a dynamic exchange with the community of Águeda. With engaging performances, vibrant murals, in situ dance pieces, collaborative workshops, energetic concerts and contemporary artwork, the artists explored many themes including the current environmental issues and channeled inspiration from the LGBTQ+ community in their artistic manifestations during the colorful AgitÁgueda Festival.
