The EDP Foundation is honoured to invite you to the exhibition Variable Dimensions that will be open to visitors from 8 February, at noon until 8 pm, at the Edifício Central Tejo, in Belém, Lisbon.
"Variable Dimensions is a descriptive term commonly used in captions of artworks, especially in the field of contemporary art, but rarely used in the field of architecture, where dimensions are used for construction and hence naturally pre-defined. This exhibition suggests a fresh look at this difference and reinvents dialogues around the relationship between artists and architecture".
This group show presents a selection of forty-nine artists. We highlight the participation of JUAN ARAUJO, JOHN BALDESSARI, MATT MULLICAN, JULIÃO SARMENTO, RUI TOSCANO, LAWRENCE WEINER and ERWIN WURM.
A Guided Tour with the exhibition curators, Gregory Lang (guest curator) and Inês Grosso (curator MAAT) will happen February 9 at 7 pm. This guided tour will have the duration of around one hour.
