Eu sou uma professora, investigadora e artista belga, dividindo o meu tempo entre Olhão (Algarve) e Bruxelas (Bélgica). Formada em história e mestre em artes (3D, escultura e prática experimental), dediquei 20 anos ao ensino de adultos e, desde 2004, à formação de professores, no Departamento de Artes da Luca School of Arts (Gent-Bruxelas). 

Actualmente, estou focada na minha própria prática artística. Como investigadora e praticante, estou interessada em processos artísticos, arte e comunidade, avaliação da arte e dinâmicas de grupo sobre arte e aprendizagem. Acredito que as práticas artísticas podem ser emancipatórias e ser apercebidas e sentidas como uma forma de resistência. Tanto um sentido individual como comunitário. 

Eu dedico a maior parte do meu tempo ao ensino e investigação sobre os processos artísticos e como, actualmente,  podem ser ensinados. Isto levanta uma série de questões: como executar uma prática que possa afectar e perceber o ambiente? Pode o trabalho visual desconstruir-nos? Como inventar, procurar e (re)fazer? Como ter impacto no nosso complexo e potencialmente rico mundo perverso no despertar do Antropoceno?

Lieve Dehasque about herself:
"I am a Belgian teacher, researcher and artist who lives most of the time in Olhao (Algarve) and Bruxelles (Belgium). Formed as an historian and later as a master in arts (3D, sculpture, experimental praxi) I dedicated myself 20 years to the  art teaching of adults and; since 2004, to the (re) formation of the Teachers in the Arts Department in Luca School of Arts (Gent-Brussel). 

Actually I am giving more time to my own artistic practice.  As a thinker and a practicioner, I am into Art processes, Art and Community, Evaluation of Art and Groupdynamics in Art and Learning. I believe that art practices can be emancipatory and be understood and felt as a form of resistance. This in a personal and a communial way. 

I dedicate most of my time to teaching and researching about what art processes nowadays can be and how they can be coached. It brings along al lot of questions, for example:  how to install a practice that can affect maker, perceiver and the environment? Can visual work still dismantle us? How to invent, find and (re-)make? How to have an impact on our complex, potentially rich but perverse world at the dawn of the Anthropocene?"
