Olá a todos/as! A Solidariedade Imigrante tem o prazer de convidá-lo/a à apresentação do Livro "Sociedade Dividida - Terra Santa" e inauguração da exposição de fotografia, pelo autor e fotógrafo brasileiro Raphael Lima. "Em Janeiro de 2014, durante uma visita ao muro que separa católicos e protestantes em Belfast, na Irlanda do Norte, li uma frase que me chamou atenção “Our Divided Society” (Nossa Sociedade Dividida). Em letras pretas e maiúsculas aquelas três palavras resumiam a situação que se prolonga desde os anos 1960 no país e desde sempre em infinitas regiões do mundo, causada pela guerra religiosa, passando por diferenças políticas até a de classes sociais. Um mês depois, diante da construção de um muro na Cisjordânia, que desde 2002 serve para separar o território israelense do palestino, decidi então iniciar esse projeto, “Sociedade Dividida”, que pretende visitar lugares onde a separação ainda é vista a olhos nus. As fotos apresentadas na exposição foram feitas em fevereiro de 2014 nas cidades de Jerusalém, Hebron, Belém e Ramallah, e fazem parte do primeiro livro do projeto, que ainda pretende retratar as ex-repúblicas Jugoslavas, o Chipre e a própria Irlanda do Norte, onde começou a ideia" Raphael Lima Será ainda servido chá e gastronomia típica da Palestina aos presentes.
