Lisbon Improv Classes for Beginners
Do you want to unleash your creativity? Follow the unexpected through responding to your spontaneous impulses? Play with joy and connect with other people?
The upcoming Lisbon Improv Classes for Beginners will offer you an insight into the fascinating world of improvisational theatre. By using theatre exercises and techniques you will learn the basic skills of improv: playful spontaneity; group play and teamwork; expression of voice and emotion; body work; imagination; and storytelling.
A scene offers the audience a moment of playfulness - a composition of images or exciting storylines. Turn by turn, the players enter the narrative and follow the story. There are no limits to imagination. Improvisational Theatre encourages spontaneous play, while freeing the players and letting them discover the infinity of possibilities.
Here you will learn the techniques of improvisational theatre, which can also enrich your everyday or professional life. The focus of these classes is on having fun, creating unexpected scenes together, laughing at ourselves and being surprised by the boldness of our own ideas.
No theatre experience is required.
