3ª Edição FFFilm Project 2014 O FFFilm Project (Family Fiction Film Project) é um ciclo de Cinema e Vídeo que acontece no Porto desde 2012, tendo vindo a explorar diversas possibilidades em torno da intimidade, da memória e das ligações. A 3ª edição terá lugar entre os dias 11 e 15 de novembro no Teatro Municipal Rivoli, no Edifício AXA e no Auditório Passos Manuel. Com 67 filmes selecionados a partir de mais de 1000 candidaturas, esta 3ª edição do festival contará pela primeira vez com uma secção competitiva. Para além dos portugueses, serão exibidos filmes provenientes dos mais diversos países, tais como Alemanha, Argentina, Brasil, Canadá, Egipto, Espanha, Holanda, Indonésia, Itália, Israel, Irão, Líbano, México, Polónia, Rússia, Taiwan e Venezuela, entre outras nacionalidades. Este ano, a programação do festival será estruturada por secções temáticas: Vidas e Lugares (com enfoque no registo voyeurístico, biográfico ou documental de habitats e quotidianos), Ligações (com foco nas dinâmicas interpessoais e comunitárias) e Memórias e Arquivo (dedicada a olhares criativos a partir de testemunhos e de found footage). Os 21 filmes em competição distribuem-se por estas três secções. Haverá ainda uma secção não competitiva dedicada ao género ficcional e outra dedicada ao género da animação. Para além das sessões dedicadas as filmes selecionados, a programação do festival incluirá também uma reposição do filme-concerto Circo Togni e La Camera Ottica, que voltará a contar com música ao vivo de Alexandre Soares, Gustavo Costa e Henriques Fernandes, realizando-se no dia 14, no Passos Manuel, às 22h. X-Y é a instalação de Cesário M.F. Alves que estará em regime de permanência durante o festival. O artista tem estado ligado ao FFFilm Project desde a sua primeira edição, apresentando trabalhos singulares de instalação e fotografia que cruzam com a temática deste festival. No dia 15 de Novembro, decorrerá ainda uma conferência dedicada ao tema das "Deslocações da Intimidade". Este momento de reflexão contará com a presença de Catarina Simão, Gabriela Vaz-Pinheiro (FBAUP), Jean Martin Rabot (UM), Jorge Campos (ESMAE), Jorge Leandro Rosa (IF), Diogo Aguiar (Like Architects) e Maria Augusta Babo (UN). Tal como nos anoa anteriores, o FFFilm Project contará também, de novo, com a colaboração da Home Movies de Bolonha (Itália), e também com a Visiona em Huesca (Espanha), onde acontecem as extensões do festival. www.fffilmproject.com -- 3rd Edition of FFFilm Project 2014 The FFFilm Project (Family Fiction Film Project) is a Film and Video cycle that happens at the Porto since 2012 and has been exploring various possibilities around intimacy, memory and connections. The 3rd edition will take place between 11th and 15th of November at Rivoli Teatro Municipal, the AXA building and Auditorium Passos Manuel. With 67 films selected from over 1000 nominations, this 3rd edition of the festival will have for the first time a competitive Section. Apart from Portuguese, movies coming from different countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Israel, Iran, Lebanon, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Taiwan and Venezuela are displayed, among other nationalities. This year, the festival program will be structured by thematic sections: Lives and Places (focusing on the voyeuristic, biographical or documentary record of habitats and everyday), Connections (with a focus on interpersonal and community dynamics) and Memory and Archive (dedicated to creatives aproaches from witnesses and found footage). The 21 films in competition are divided into these three sections. There will also be a non-competitive section dedicated to the fictional genre and another dedicated to the genre of animation. In addition to the sessions devoted to selected films, the festival program will also include a replacement concert film Togni Circus and La Camera Ottica, wich will again rely on live music of Alexandre Soares, Gustavo Costa and Henriques Fernandes, performing in day 14th at Passos Manuel, at 22h. X-Y is an installation by the artist Cesário M. F. Alves which will be presented during the festival. The artist has been collaborate with the festival by presented singular works on photography and installation that crosses the thematic of the event. Finally on November 15th, even held a conference devoted to the subject "Displacements of Intimacy".
