If the city is Lisbon, you call him Diogo Picão. Diogo is the microbiologist of Lisbon life. His musical verses research family cells, parasitic voices of social conventions, bacteria of small talk and the immunity of desire. His career as a bard started, however, on the outskirts of the Portuguese capital. Born into the countryside accent, it was among the agricultural fields and fishing villages that he honed his optics for social irrationality. Later, he perfected this skill by having an extensive flirt with Porto, which provided him with a diploma in big city seduction through music and words. Equipped with a saxophone, pen and paper, he chooses Lisbon as his lab, where he studies rhythms both local and from across all oceans. No behavioural tick escapes his eye.
