ENG: (PT below) We are so pleased to share with you a very special wine fair in Lisbon this March. PURA SEDE will be held on Sunday the 8th of March at Suspenso, an old Clay works in Lisbon's ancient district of Alfama. The wine fair will be in the Fogau room, where there was a foundry. Here still remains intact the old furnace, Stone walls, old metal windows and the original handcrafted factory tools. On March 8th, the focus is on natural wines, with nothing added and nothing taken away. We are bringing together all those with a pure thirst and a thirst for purity, from near and far -- to taste wine directly from the producers themselves. Natural wine is simply wine, as it has always been made. Joining us at this fair will be a chance to hear from the winegrowers what that means to them. Beyond wine, we are putting Lisbon’s slow food eateries centre stage as a natural pairing to natural wine. Lisbon restaurants are doing so much for growing the community of those drinking natural. You will have a chance to eat one unique plate from some of these special restaurants that are in the Lisbon scene including : Senhor Uva, Comida Independente, Pigmeu - Campo de Ourique Fromagerie Maître Renard - Queijaria Francesa Specialty coffee by Olisipo Coffee Roasters Beer by : Cerveja Musa Water by : Água de Luso Glasses by : Riedel - The Wine Glass Companyi In the week around the event we will have off-events and popups, with some winemakers joining at restaurants to pour their wines to guests during #SemanaPuraSede. The event and the off-week events aims to showcase all of the amazing food and wines on offer in the growing Lisbon scene. Na Pura Sede será uma oportunidade para saberem de quem os faz, o que isso significa para cada um deles. Para além do vinho, poremos em destaque os lugares empenhados no movimento de slow food em Lisboa como par perfeito destes vinhos.
