Hello all! This time around we want to embrace a sunny afternoon by the seaside, even (or perhaps especially) in December! As you know, Porto is composed of many shades and hues, where every corner is unique, we've been to Foz Velha, now we go farther east to Foz Nova. The ocean front is one of the most sought out locations, it is where the sun sets the latest (which, in December, is paramount), so this time around we want to discover the stories of the Atlantic promenade, along its elegant Avenida de Montevideu, to revisit the presence of past and present Portan elites, the glitterati of the city, of striking revival style "palacetes" but also to our own mid-century architecture. Yet we want to touch the very many transformations in the last century and a half, from rural to summer resort to a new borough. Join us, discover the city and the stories that no one else tells! Price €5 (free for children) - you may pay at the meeting point through cash or mbway. Distance 2km - single way - We'll take those three hours to cover this short distance, beginning in the vicitinity of Castelo do Queijo and ending near Praia da Luz, it's very flat, very wide, easy to reach.
