A Taste of Hong Kong - Pineapple Bun 'Slider'

About pineapple buns:
The pineapple bun (Cantonese: bo lo bao) is a staple of Chinese baked goods, as well as the Hong Kong people's diet. The Hong Kong Government even listed it as a part of Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage in 2014! Despite the name, it does not contain pineapple! It's called "pineapple bun" simply because the topping resembles the texture of a pineapple shell.

About the pop-up:
In Hong Kong, people usually eat pineapple buns plain, or with a large chunk of butter. But @Hangrywifey is mixing it with other local Hong Kong flavours to make a 'slider' that takes it to another level!
