The ESOR Symposium on Imaging Hallmarks of Cancer is designed for scientists, radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians and other experts in cancer imaging interested in acquiring knowledge and sharing their expertise on cutting-edge methods to diagnose and manage cancer patients. On the first day of the Symposium, delegates will have the unique opportunity to learn from Patrick Bossuyt a renowned scientist, and the professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam. Professor Bossuyt will address the evidence-base for rational decision-making about the use of medical tests and testing strategies in health care. The following day, an experienced multidisciplinary faculty will provide the delegates with a blend of novel experimental and clinical imaging methods used to diagnose cancer and improve cancer screening as well as to interrogate cancer biology and physiology.
