Simon McCallum has been lecturing game development for 14 years both in New Zealand and Norway. He worked commercially as a game developer and has been researching in Serious Games, with a focus on Games for Health. He is currently lecturing at NTNU, Norway’s largest university, teaching course in Game Design, Rapid prototyping, Game programming, Serious Games and Game Technology. He has worked with a wide range of companies on various game project with funding from the private sector, local, national and European Union H2020 funded projects. His students work throughout the game industry from creating their own companies, to large international developers like Rockstar North, EA, and Blizzard.
The talk "Serious Games and Gamification: working with experts" is the 15th in the cycle "The Art and Craft of Game Programming", part of the 2016-2017 Creative Talks of Universidade Europeia and IADE - Creative University.
