We’re moving towards a future with ambient technology, smart operating systems and anticipatory experiences. This workshop is an introduction to Anticipatory Design. You will explore the possibilities and applications of predictive UX by brainstorming and prototyping ideas to create automated services that anticipate people’s needs. PART 1: INTRODUCTION TO ANTICIPATORY DESIGN Brief introduction of Anticipatory Design to explain the concept. Examples will be given to trigger your creative confidence. PART 2: IDEA SPEED DATING You're going to explore the possibilities and applications of predictive UX during an interactive brainstorm (idea speed dating). During this session, several teams will collaborate and iterate together on ideas to create automated services that anticipate people’s needs. PART 3: PROTOTYPING The last step is about putting ideas and thoughts into reality. You'll be working on prototypes together with other participants. PART 4: PITCH IDEAS Limited to 20 people.
