Atlantic Swing Festival 2017 • Lisbon Tour

So you’ve spent the last umpteen hours sitting in a cramped airplane seat on your way to Portugal. We feel for you! Come with us and stretch your legs as we go on an epic walking tour of Lisbon!  This year we’ve asked Live History Themed Tours & Events to teach us a bit about Lisbon history as you get to know this beautiful city!

** Live History – Alfama Walking Tour **

Cross the downtown of Lisbon and enter Alfama, the oldest neighbourhood of the city and end up at the Castle area. Learn the history and legends of the old town’s most representative neighbourhood, walking through its narrow alleys up and down hill.  Along the way we will be visiting points of interest in the historic city center on a guided tour where history, stories and funny facts combine together.

• Meeting time/point: Praça Dom Pedro IV (Rossio) at 14:30
• Ending time/point: Praça Martim Moniz, around 18:00

Be sure to sign up for this tour on our activities form (available soon on the site) so we have an idea of how many people to expect. If you only know last minute that you can come, just show up!  You’ll pay our ASF volunteers when you arrive to the meeting point!
