HORiZONS : Waynak (Where are you?) is the first MakeSense webdoc (filmed by the amazing What Took You So Long?) that lets you discover and collaborate with social entrepreneurs in the Near East and Europe, currently developing short, middle and long term solutions to impact the Refugee ‘Crisis’. In November 2016, meet social entrepreneurs from Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, France, Germany, United Kingdom and more… and help them solve their challenges.

-> Pão a Pão
 Alaa - Pão a Pão is a multicultural meeting space for the integration of Middle Eastern refugees, with community cooking and cultural workshops. It is all about to make it easier for them to know the hosting society and lets the people know about them.
 
-> Refugees Welcome Portugal
  Willian Gomes -This is an international Project (part of the Home Without Borders association). Housing is the core of the program Refugees Welcome Portugal, which was set up in September 2015 to match hosts and refugees.
Asylum seekers can get in touch via text message, email or by registering on the website. The project also offers mentors to refugees as well as language courses. The objective is to aid with the inclusion of refugees into Portuguese society.

  Maria Brilhante - Speak connects migrants, refugees and locals living in the same city, through a language and exchange program where anyone can apply to learn a language and culture on an informal and effective way while meeting other people and making friends.

  Maria Minas - ComParte/ Maria Rosa Foundation is a project of national scope that is focused on civic engagement and social transformation. 
At ComParte & Integration we count with the experience and knowledge of the people that have found a refuge in Portugal (integration pros). They reflect about the reception and integration in the Portuguese society, sharing their ideas in first hand with decision-makers, d to contribute to the development efficient policies and strategies.

And to understand better what the refugees impact is about, we are bring two nice people to share the experience of be part of some of these projects here in Portugal.
