FUNKAUSSTELLUNG - A SOCIAL SOUND SCULPTURE
Funkausstellung is a never ending aleatoric compsition, assembled out of audio material which were contributed by people from all over the world. Up to now, nearly 200 people participated in the process - children and adults, artists and non-artists. Out of their contributions, a pool of about 1000 sound fragments  were extracted. 
These fragments are put together to new and surprising formations by a random controlled computer program. 
The sound installation consists of used hi-fi components, where each single hi-fi system plays one fragrment at at a time. The result is a very dynamic, diversified and contains a spatial sound field , which can be highly  entertaining and appealing to artists and non artists.
