Laboratório Low Tech/Handmade é um laboratório onde 6 designers apresentam o seu próprio trabalho fazendo-o.
Pretende mostrar-se o que acontece em atelier. O público é convidado a participar neste laboratório fazendo e aprendendo técnicas que vão da cerâmica à cestaria, passando pelo trabalho de materiais como o plástico ou a madeira. Cada workshop tem uma temática diferente, com base no trabalho do designer responsável. Pretende-se a aprendizagem através da prática, sendo que um dos objectivos é idealizar um objecto recorrendo às técnicas ensinadas.
Com este workshop pretende-se a produção de peças torneadas em madeira em conjugação com elementos naturais. Por exemplo, através da aplicação de elementos das pinhas dos pinheiros enquanto técnica de artesanato. Serão também introduzidas bases teóricas de design com a natureza e de produção em torno de madeira.

WORKSHOP
Low tech/handmade laboratory gathers 6 designers that present their work by doing it.
The goal is to show what happens in an atelier. The public is invited to participate in this laboratory by learning and working techniques, from wickerwork to ceramics, but using materials such as plastic or wood. Each workshop has a different theme, depending on the work of the designer in charge. The aim is to create an object using the techniques taught, through practice.
The aim of this workshop is to produce wooden pieces combining them with natural elements. The usage of pines as a handicraft technique, for instance. The theoretical basics for design using wooden and natural elements will also be introduced.
