A Performact - Curso de Intérprete e Coreógrafo de Dança Contemporânea apresenta "The DEEP CUTS Studies" do coreógrafo convidado Samir Calixto This piece is based on excerpts from some of Calixto’s previous stage works, taking as a departure point material from the NIGHT TIME series - a collection of short pieces exploring the relation between human’s rebellious spirit and the night - among other creations. However, by escaping any narrative form proposed by the theme, The DEEP CUTS Studies will focus on the direct, instinctive relationship between the vigorous phisicality of the dancers, their relatonship to the space and the musicality intrinsic to their own movements. The result is a game of rich dynamic contrasts, conciliating the paradox between freedom and precision in a stirring display of contradictions.
