Cage's Deli is the psychedelic and eclectic sonic workplace of Del Stephen, Toronto/Lisbon-based artist and researcher typically known for performing and recording experimental music, spoken word, and spontaneous composition. Following a recent audio-visual collaborative group set back in July and the release of his latest LP ‘Ao Vivo No Palácio’ last month, Del returns to Desterro with Cage's Deli to open up the night in selector mode.
Imberbe's 'Ghostly' take on electronic music takes shape through a distorted vision of life and dreaming. Taking cues from the atmospheric side of techno and ambient music, his debut LP “Fantasmas” released in March 2023 showcases the Portuguese artist's muted sound world. Introspective, blurred traits fuse dragged synth riffs, organic percussion, eerie melody, spectral textures and intimate field recordings.
Mafra-based KeHorasChão drops in for a spin at desterro before heading overland to France. The uptempo urban sounds of speed garage, bassline and hard house steppers blend seamlessly into the actively underground dj-raver’s recent sets in locations known and unknown.
