Discover the mystical layers of Iberian Islamic myths on an interpretative, English-only walk through the narratives and picturesque nature of the Algarve’s interior.
Set around the Moinho do Gentil in Fonte Felipe (Querença, Loulé), this is an opportunity to explore a landscape in ruin, in search for new mythologies, time travelling and questioning the origin stories that prop up Algarvian identity to arrive at new beginnings and find new ways to inhabit the landscape.
André Mesquita (Instagram: @cosmic.andre), a local visual artist, invites you in this easy trail, to present a deconstruction of the classical tales of Iberian Islamic myths.
