Desarme presents the first of the two dates at the exterior of "sala de armas" of Largo Residências - Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola. With an eclectic line up of both local and international djs, the event will be running from afternoon through to the night.
To kick start the series we're honoured to host Alicia Carrera, graphic designer (she did the poster!), DJ and promoter with a vast carreer in Barcelona and Berlin. She'll be closing our indoors checkered dancefloor with energic downtempo music.
On a more "local" note, the currently touring Sonic Boom & Panda Bear are doing a pit stop in Lisbon where they're based. We 're thankful to them for accepting our invitation to share some music mid-afternoon at the doors of "sala de armas".
Residents Lizatron, Miguel Limão and Bruxizme will cover the rest of the night and missing Stasera will be joining for the second round in June.
Desarme will take place at Quartel do Largo do Cabeço da Bola in Arroios, Lisbon. It's a beautiful early 20th century complex, a former police headquarters that is now being reclaimed as a centre for culture by LARGO Residências. On a daily basis they offer various workshops, sewing studio, library, lectures and courses as well as home made food which you will be able to taste on the day of Desarme.
