A Monitor Lisbon tem o prazer de anunciar Office For Neanderthal Tourism & Crucifixion de Nathaniel Mellors. Na sua primeira exposição em Portugal o artista apresenta uma trilogia de obras em vídeo em torno do tema central The Neanderthal: Neanderthal Crucifixion (2021), Neanderthal Container (2014) e The Sophisticated Neanderthal Interview (2013), junto a uma seleção de esculturas e pinturas absurdistas. Nathaniel Mellors (Doncaster, Reino Unido, 1974), realizou os seus estudos na Ruskin School, na Universidade de Oxford (1996-99) e concluiu o mestrado na Royal College of Art, em Londres (1999-2001). Durante o período de tempo entre 2007-09, Nathaniel Mellors participou na residência de Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, em Amesterdão. Atualmente vive e desenvolve o seu trabalho em Los Angeles.
