PT_Este é o primeiro ano que o CONOFEST - Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens vem a Portugal e é uma honra e prazer que tenha contado com a colaboração com o Porto Femme 2022. Nesta sessão poderá assistir a filmes baleares, espanhóis e conteúdo internacional numa seleção escolhida com tato e carinho.
CONOFEST - International (Short) Film Festival é o primeiro festival internacional de curtas-metragens das Baleares exclusivamente para roteiristas e diretoras. Abrange conteúdo espanhol e internacional e é realizado em todo o mundo com a intenção de celebrar e desfrutar do cinema feminino de qualquer lugar do mundo. O CONOFEST - International (Short) Film Festival é um festival feminista, milenar e multidisciplinar criado com o objetivo de mostrar, apoiar e divulgar o trabalho de mulheres profissionais do setor cinematográfico, nacional e internacionalmente, através da união de diferentes disciplinas artísticas em e atividades anuais. Uma das principais características do CONOFEST - Festival Internacional de Curtas é o respeito à profissionalização da arte e o cuidado com o artista. Todos os filmes que constituem o festival são remunerados com uma taxa não concorrencial, para incentivar a criação cinematográfica e a solidariedade professional.

Sinopse Aska supervisiona a peregrinação de duas jovens irmãs pelas paisagens da Islândia na sua busca para apaziguar um vulcão mal-humorado. Tendo aprisionado o espírito da sua mãe dentro de uma caixa, correm contra a decadência da Natureza e preparam-se para alimentá-la à Serpente de Fogo antes que ele traga a morte sobre as suas terras.

It encompasses Spanish and international content and is held worldwide with the intention of celebrating and enjoying female cinema from anywhere in the world. CONOFEST - International (Short) Film Festival is a feminist, millennial and multidisciplinary festival created with the objective of showcasing, supporting and spreading the work of professional women in the cinematographic sector, both nationally and internationally, through the union of different artistic disciplines in continued and annual activities. One of the principal characteristics of the CONOFEST - International (Short) Film Festival is the respect regarding the professionalization of art and caring for the artist. Every film that constitutes the festival is remunerated with a non-compete fee, to encourage cinematographic creation and professional solidarity.

Synopsis Aska oversees the pilgrimage of two young sisters through the landscapes of Iceland in their quest to appease an ill-tempered volcano. Having trapped their mother’s spirit inside a box, they race against Nature’s decay and prepare to feed her to the Snake of Fire before he brings death upon their land.
