An evening with acclaimed photographers, Sara Lando, and David Hobby
An exciting new concept, exclusive to Porto Photo Fest “Make it a double!” is a photography demo with a twist: two top photographers will duke it out to make a portrait of the same “surprise subject”, live, working against the clock to capture “the shot” before their competing styles change and rearrange the shared stage.
In this photographic wrestling match, David Hobby and Sara Lando will take turns making a portrait by building on the others’ set up. Participants will get to witness their incredibly different styles and adaptability tools put to the test to create a printable image – before the buzzer sounds and they shift places in an artistic tag-team shoot-athon.
This will be a fast-paced, fun-filled event of dueling-shutters and mischief-making designed to test the limits of our masters!
There will be laughter, possibly tears and a surprise subject not to be missed!
Those who have enrolled in the “Portrait Extravaganza” workshop lead by Lando and Hobby will gain free admittance to this event.
