Aiming the sonorities of dub (a particular cultural strand of reggae music), addressed to its various electronic strains since its Jamaican origins in the 70's, 'till todays internationalization of this genre, and highlighting the new trends of the original dubstep of the last decade, the DUB CLUB is once again back by public demand at Fridayhappiness Cultural Association in Tojeiro-Algarve (Monchique). Being hosted by Selecta Bob Figurante in vinyl handling, this event has traveled since 2007 all over the country, with incidence to large urban centers like Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Beja, Aveiro, Lagos, Braga, Évora, etc. Besides Selecta Bob, who comes directly from Porto, the event will feature local artists Dj Flea, Drumma Quinn, Sensimix aka Selecta Sensi and Selecta Irie, MightyDog Tiago & Kanina from Lisbon/Center of Portugal, Selecta Kazoo (Feelin'irie Soundsystem - Brazil), plus guests, inna unforgettable night for reggae/dub and bass music lovers and sympathizers, friends and curious.
