Depois da exposição Sprint na Cooperativa Árvore que deu inicio a esta 4ª edição do projeto Apneia, Dalila Gonçalves e Fabrizio Matos apresentam o resultado final desta residência na exposição Pódio, que vai ter lugar no Maus Hábitos dia 19 de Outubro às 22h.
No decorrer da exposição haverá ainda uma conversa aberta entre os artistas e a equipa de curadoria do projeto, que vai ter lugar no dia 26 de Outubro, na qual estes irão refletir a residência e as exposições a que esta deu lugar.

Sobre os artistas:

Dalila Gonçalves, tem um vasto percurso onde a abordagem plástica assenta em diferentes processos conceptuais e matéricos, e o seu processo de trabalho é um equilibrio entre a forma de fazer e de como o fazer, num jogo entre um real e uma possível reconstrução metafórica do quotidiano, que equivale ao seu processo de trabalho. 

Fabrizio Matos tem um trabalho que pode deambular entre diferentes construções narrativas, onde a pintura e a escultura assumem uma presença importante. Como o próprio refere, o seu trabalho passa pela evocação de um passado, de uma memória, algo que já aconteceu. Uma construção plástica em torno da ideia de “mistério”, algo “inexplicável”, construído através do seu processo como autor.

After the Sprint Exhibition in Árvore that initiated this 4th edition of the Apneia project, Dalila Gonçalves and Fabrizio Matos present the final result of this residence in the Podium Exhibition, which will take place in October 19th at 22h in Maus Hábitos. 
During the exhibition stay, there will be an Artist Talk between the artists and the curatorial team of the project, which will take place on October the 26, in which they will reflect the residency and the exhibitions that took place.

About the artists:

Dalila Gonçalves has a long practice where the plastic approach is based on different conceptual and materic processes. Her work process is a balance between the form of doing and the how to do it, in a game between a real and a possible metaphoric reconstruction of daily life which is equivalent to her working process.

Fabrizio Matos has a work that can roam between different narrative constructions, where painting and sculpture assume an important presence. As he refers, his work involves the evocation of a past, a memory, something that has already happened. A plastic construction around the idea of "mystery," something "inexplicable", built through its process as an author.
