World Famous Beto Kalulu Dois is coming to Cabanas Beach Restaurant .
Brazil and Madagascar inspired him with his growing number of musical companions there were always new projects on the go. With charity concerts he raised money for children in Mozambique and Angola, as well as other charity institutions. In 1999 Beto founded the “Quinteto Manuel Guerreiro” with saxophonist Manuel Guerreiro, with whom he produced his second album, a live recording of the Maio lindo Maio Jazz Festival in Portimão. The new millennium also started successfully for the agile all-rounder. After travelling in Brazil the band "Swing Brasil" was created with Tuka Moura (guitar and vocals) Marinho Pires (bass), Ricardo Stuani (drums), Marcos Vita (piano) and of course Beto Kalulú (percussion) with numerous performances in the Algarve, Alentejo and northern Portugal. He then returned to his own projects. In 2002 he embodied “Betuga” and put his voice and his hair to the service of the Portuguese football squad in order to support the players on behalf of the Algarve at the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. Kalulú has remained true to himself to this day and has meanwhile released two more CDs with the band (Mama Mukudilê and Fatacil ao vivo), which are available at FNAC, Intermarché and Globo among others.
