Contact Improvisation Dance Workshop

In this workshop, Daniella will share with us her never-ending passion for Contact Improvisation practice: 
• We will be exploring the fundamentals of pelvis connection, understanding the basics of sharing weight and rolling the point of contact into the pelvis lift.
The workshop will incloud different tools to deal with the different aspects of the practice of contact improvisation. Honoring the solo, and learning how to join a dance, how to feel the space, how to find myself in the jam.
The workshop will offer a wide range of technical ideas and therefore is open for all levels. 

Daniella Kassif:
A seeker and a researcher of freedom and expression. Was trained for 15 years in various dance techniques from Ballet to Contact Improvisation. As a contemporary dancer she is working with release technique, and floor work to support her practice of CI.
In the last 7 years she was studying choreography in different programs in Israel and developed a ‘voice for movers’ practice, that was captured into an improvised performance piece. Since she was introduced to the Deep Ecology approach she is investigating the integration of these inspiring ideas with her movement practice.
Daniella is a ‘contakids’ teacher for parents and children, and creates spaces for the practice of contact improvisation for adults.
