O MAU OLHADO é um one-man-show originário do Porto.

João Cardoso traz este projeto à vida com recurso a uma guitarra e uma loopstation, criando layers que compoem o som de uma banda completa (da percussão aos solos de guitarra).

Com raízes no fado, blues, gypsy jazz e música latina, mas com um twist moderno, O Mau Olhado faz o ouvinte viajar por variadas paisagens sonoras sem nunca esquecer o groove e swing que convidam a um pé de dança.

O MAU OLHADO is a one-man-show originally from Porto.

João Cardoso brings this project to life with the aid of nothing more than a guitar and a loopstation, creating layers which compose the sound of a full band (from percussion to guitar solos) . 

With roots in Fado, Blues, Gypsy jazz and Latin music but with a modern twist, "O Mau Olhado" makes the listener travel through various soundscapes without ever forgetting the swing and the groove, an open invitation to dance.
