They studied jazz voice and composition at Trinity Laban conservatoire in London, UK, lead two a cappella vocal groups for 10 years, and performed regularly as a lead singer and percussionist with Rhythms of the City, London's premier Brazilian percussion band. They delivered a wide range of courses to adult learners at the City Literary Institute over the years, including Musicianship, Jazz Singing, Harmony, Sight-Singing, Jazz Vocal Improvisation, and others. They are interested in bringing together the performing arts (music, theatre, dance, ...), and in exploring the connections and blurry areas between singing, motion, feeling, harmony and rhythm.
